Core Beliefs

God

There is one living and true God, revealed in the unity of the Godhead as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God the Son, the Savior of the world. Born of the virgin Mary, Jesus declared His deity among men, died on the cross as the final and only sacrifice for sin, arose bodily from the grave, ascended back to the Father and is seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for believers until He comes again.  Salvation is obtained by faith in Christ alone and His redemptive work on the cross.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine.  He is essential in salvation as He calls people into relationship with Christ, effects regeneration and baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ.  He enables believers to understand truth, transforms them and empowers them to live out every aspect of the Christian faith.  He exalts Christ.

The Bible

The Scriptures are God's inerrant revelation.  They are complete in the Old and New Testaments, written by divinely inspired men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.  The Scriptures provide the standard for the believer's faith and practice and reveal the principles by which God will judge all, and express the true basis of Christian fellowship.

Creation

God is the author and creator of all life. He created all things for His own pleasure and glory, as revealed in the biblical account of creation. God created man in His own image. As the crowning work of creation, every person, including the unborn, is of dignity and worth and merits the respect of all other persons.
